It’s an album 11 years in the making: Seattle’s Acceptance announced today that there’s a new album on the way; their first since 2005’s Phantoms.
The band wants the fans to be a part of the new album, and have launched a pre-order campaign via PledgeMusic. By using PledgeMusic, they’re allowing fans to help contribute to their efforts, while getting updates from every step of the way. Pictures and video updates will be posted from various writing and recording sessions, as well as live performances.
Currently, there are 20 different pre-sale packages for sale, ranging from a $10 digital download of their new album, to a $5,000 acoustic house concert anywhere in the United States. All packages come with an AccessPass, allowing Acceptance fans to grab an instant download of “Take You Away,” their first new song in over ten years, which was released last year.
