There’s no better way to let loose at end the work week than spending Friday evening at a show. This past Friday, Arkells came through Atlanta with Irontom to put on a heck of a show.
Opening up for Arkells was the Los Angeles-based band, Irontom. These guys were the perfect opener for this show, as they were so energetic and really enjoyed themselves onstage. The crowd seemed to enjoy listening and watching just as much as Irontom loved playing.
At 8:30, Arkells took the stage. From beginning to end, their set was filled with energy. The crowd had a blast and jammed along. During “Dirty Blonde,” the band brought a group of girls who hadn’t stopped dancing the whole set onstage to dance with them and for “Private School” brought up a fan to play guitar. Frontman Max even took to the crowd during “Drake’s Dad” to engage everyone even more. Arkells are just so incredibly fun to watch, and their love for their fans and music really shines through while they’re onstage. There are a few more dates left of the Knocking on the Door Tour before a short holiday run, so be sure to catch them in your town!
