Fans flocked to see Biffy Clyro take the stage at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL last night. The Scottish alternative rock trio delivered a high-energy set that left the crowd wanting more. The band opened the show with “Wolves of Winter,” a high-energy song from the band’s 2016 album Ellipsis. Biffy Clyro kept the crowd singing, dancing, and even crowd surfing all night long by playing a great mix of music from their entire discography. Fan favorite songs like “Biblical”, “Bubbles”, “Black Chandelier” and “Mountains” had the crowd screaming the words back at the band as if they had been waiting their who lives to do just that. Lead singer Simon Neil came out and closed the main part of the band’s set with “Many of Horror”, an emotional rock ballad from the band’s 2008 album Only Revolutions. Before the rest of the band came out to join Neil on stage to finish the last part of the song, Neil looked out at the crowd happy as could be as fans screamed the words back at him. The band closed out their set with “God & Satan” and “Stingin’ Belle”, both songs left the packed House of Blues crowd wanting more.
Biffy Clyro delivered an incredibly high-energy rock show from start to finish. Their stage presence was electric and so infectious which made fans never want to look away.
