Covet, Tera Melos, Chon
Gas Monkey Live – Dallas, TX- 6.27.17

During opener Covet’s set, an enthusiastic bass player danced around the stage while a guitarist and drummer charmed the audience with song. The California natives have an overall relaxing and airy undertone to their music, much like headliner act Chon. While their songs are relaxing, they are far from simplistic. The instrumentals are filled with complex melodies and quick drums.
Tera Melos kept the crowd engaged with an energetic set filled with dynamic songs. The group blends ambient electronics, irregular drumming, and jagged bass riffs to create an incredible discography. Most of the songs are instrumental, but a few tracks have vocals here and there.
Headliner Chon took the stage after much anticipation from the chanting crowd. Chon played a mix of songs from their new album Homey which released June 16th, and fan favorites such as “Bubble Dream“ and “Fluffy”. The three-piece held the crowd with their usual bouncy yet smooth and calm energy.
There are only two remaining tour dates on the Homey tour, so act fast!
