The Palladium – Worcester, MA – 11.7.17

The Modern Nostalgia tour has been taking the music world over by storm this fall, with headlining act The Maine playing their two latest albums in full (American Candy and Lovely Little Lonely ). They’ve taken along electrifying support acts like Night Riots and Dreamers, and we were able to catch Dreamers on their run at the Palladium in Worcester, MA this past week.
From the get-go, Dreamers already had my attention by having their drum kit set up towards the front of the stage, which isn’t the most common set up to see, especially on a stage as large as the Palladium downstairs’. The three-piece Los Angeles-bred group defines themselves as “cosmic rock” on their Facebook page, and after seeing them live with their universe-inspired production and psychedelic instrumentals, I felt this was a perfect “genre” for them. Their music and live vibe is, well, dreamy, and they certainly know how to hypnotize and engage their audience. Though Dreamers were supporting The Maine on this tour, they captivated us like they were the headliners.
The Modern Nostalgia tour is still making its way, so there’s still some time to catch Dreamers on their current run.
