Joyce Manor wrapped up their headlining fall tour with Wavves and support from Culture Abuse and French Vanilla (on select dates). This tour was a garage-surf rock dream line up. It was Culture Abuse’s second time playing Chicago; the first being Riot Fest 2016. Wavves and especially Joyce Manor constantly have sold out shows in Chicago. Catching them at Concord was no different.

Joyce Manor’s setlist consisted the perfect blend of tracks off all their records. Their energy poured into preforming crowd favorite songs such as “Falling In Love Again” “Constant Headaches”, and “The Last You Heard Of Me”. The venue floor shook and the walls vibrated as the crowd stayed off their feet and sang along to every word. That’s probably what makes any Joyce Manor show such an enjoyable experience. No matter where you find yourself, in the pit, on the side, balcony, or back of the room, there is no escaping the electrifying engagement between the fans and the artists.

To kick off the new year Joyce Manor has a show set up this coming January with Surf Curse and French Vanilla at Union Station in Los Angeles. I suggest you keep an eye on them and see what big things they have for us in 2018.
