Nearing the halfway mark of their 2016 fall tour, Joyce Manor graced the Metro in Chicago with their exuberating presence for the first time in over two years. The band recently released their 4th studio album entitled “Cody” on October 7th so fans were eager to hear all of their favorite new songs performed live. As they came on stage the crowd was beyond eager and excited to get moving for their set. After what felt like the longest minute of anticipation the first chord was struck. The unlikely opener, “Catalina Fight Song”, enticed everybody in the room to just go absolutely wild and lose their minds. Within seconds the crowd as a whole were bouncing up and down in unison and was honestly one of the most memorable moments of the evening. Throughout the course of the show, the crowd maintained an insurmountable energy; each song was crazier and more intense than the last.
Joyce Manor has a couple weeks remaining on the tour so if you’re interested in attending an action-packed show from start to finish, look no further than Joyce Manor’s 2016 fall tour.
