Fans young and old crammed into the Dallas House of Blues Tuesday night to see legends Anthrax and Killswitch Engage tear apart the stage. Pittsburgh heavyweights Code Orange started the night with a pulverizing performance. The recent Roadrunner signees possessed a violent energy unlike any other onstage. Code Orange’s set can can only be described as controlled chaos.
The audience went wild when metalcore legends Killswitch Engage finally appeared. The five-piece pleased both young and old by playing a mix of new and old songs from their discography. They took it back to the 2000’s with My Curse blended in fresh material like Hate By Design and Alone I Stand. Killswitch Engage closed off their set with Dio cover, even bringing out Joey Belladonna from co-headliner Anthrax to sing lead.
